When I got to the stop signs every other block, I re-checked the map from the web site to make sure I was going the right way.It is a mid-size casino, big enough to have good selection of slots and some tables; yet small enough so that the parking is near the Casino and small enough that you do not get lost inside. The people were friendly. I would say one of the friendliest casinos I have visited this year.Some great features: $1 Blackjack table, on the $5 Blackjack, where there was still several open seats; my first hand was a blackjack. They also have .05 Video Poker machines and a mix of other types of machines. Joining the Augustine Gold was easy and you get a ticket for a drawing and a ticket for some free minutes on the Dash for cash machine.Café 54 is a restaurant and buffet. The lunch cost is $6.95 when you are a club member, otherwise $7.95. The cold slaw was very good on the All American day. The buffet has different menu depending on the day of the week. They also had a menu with very reasonable prices. During the peak times, there can be a wait, but they will give you a pager. I plan to go back to the Augustine Casino. | 8 |
